Online Eligibility Verification Terminal for Hospitals and Pharmacies: My Number Health Insurance Card and My Number Reception

This is a dedicated terminal compatible with online qualification verification (My Number health insurance card and My Number reception). It has been confirmed to work with four products of card readers with facial recognition.

■ A dedicated terminal that meets the recommended specifications for qualification confirmation terminals This dedicated terminal is used for online qualification confirmation (My Number health insurance card, My Number reception) and meets the recommended requirements set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. It comes pre-installed with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC 64bit and is equipped with a dual-port gigabit LAN that supports connections to multiple network systems. Its slim size allows for installation on the back of a monitor, contributing to space-saving at reception and service counters. *Recently, the semiconductor shortage has been a topic of discussion, but we have secured inventory to accommodate system implementation. Promoting IT in medical institutions! Case studies of the introduction of devices for using My Number Card as health insurance cards.

We would like to introduce a case where an "online eligibility verification terminal" that allows the use of My Number cards as health insurance cards was implemented at the public Okitama General Hospital, which supports healthcare in the Okitama region of Yamagata Prefecture. The hospital consulted with us regarding the dedicated terminal for online eligibility verification. During the implementation, we were able to set it up without any hassle and start using the My Number card as a health insurance card.
